Hey hey! What a weekend! Sometimes I wonder if I don’t get more rest during the week. And now that summer is practically here, things don’t seem to be slowing down a bit. With days getting longer, it’s the perfect time to slow down and enjoy some time with friends and family, and maybe even a sip or two of wine. 🙂 Today, I’ve got a simple and refreshing recipe for White Sangria. I’m a big fan of this one because it’s light and perfect for the summertime.
White Wine Sangria Recipe:
One bottle of white wine (I use Chardonnay or a Riesling)
3 oranges
1 lemon
1 lime
2/3 cup of white sugar
1/2 liter of ginger ale
Cut 2 oranges into wedges, and one sliced thin. Cut half the lemon into wedges, the other half sliced thin. Cut half of the lime into wedges, and the other half sliced thin.
Pour the wine into a pitcher and squeeze the citrus wedges into the wine. Toss in the sliced fruit, and try to leave out the seeds as much as possible. Stir in the sugar. Chill overnight.
Add ginger ale right before serving. You can also mix in strawberries, peaches, raspberries, kiwi, and even a shot of brandy, gin, rum, or your favorite citrus-flavored soda.
This is great for just a relaxing summer afternoon, or even if you’re planning some summertime entertaining with friends and family. I made this tonight for a party and it was s good! I did add a little vodka and some fresh berries. I do not like wine and normally don’t like sangria, but I had two glasses. Thanks for sharing.

Yum! I love sangria, and this one looks really good! I like all the citrus you used. I haven’t tried it with gingerale, but I bet it’s tasty.
