We’re going all Halloween this week at Creatively Southern as we start gearing up for a neighborhood Halloween Party in a few weeks. I needed some cute and easy Halloween decorating ideas, so I headed to Michael’s craft store for some inspiration. I picked up a small craft pumpkin and some floral picks and created an easy Halloween centerpiece for our party table.
I carved the top out of the craft pumpkin, but ignore that box cutter. Yeah, that was a fail. This was my first time carving a craft pumpkin, and I found out you can use your regular pumpkin carving tools much better!
Okay, so add some styrofoam or floral foam inside your pumpkin.
Add your floral picks and arrange them how you like. I added some Spanish moss I had on hand to fill in around the base of the floral picks.
So what do you think?
I added a little more “spooky” to this centerpiece with my sharpie marker and a little freehand writing, which by the way is hard to do with a toddler climbing on your back. 😉
So what kind of plans are you working on to get ready for Halloween?? If you’re looking for some more easy Halloween decorations, check out these Glitter Blast BOO Pumpkins. So fun to make!
