While I was away on my (a-hem) “Spring Break” last week, I did manage to get a few things done and make some progress in the whole home office makeover project. One of my favorite additions to my work space is this easy framed corkboard that I made for about $8!
I found the wooden frame at Michael’s for about $7. I already had the cork mat, but it was pretty thin and needed a little more backing to prevent holes in the wall. So I cut a piece of cardboard from a box and glued the cork mat on with tacky glue.
I painted the wooden frame with some white satin spray paint, and glued the cork mat and cardboard to the back.
Now I just need some cutesy thumbtacks and we’re ready to start pinning! 🙂 This is just a very small update in the office space makeover that I’ll be sharing with you soon!
So, what fun things are you up to this week? What would you pin on your framed corkboard??
