Hey there! Hope you have had a good weekend! We kicked off a full month of Christmas celebration with our advent calendar and finishing up all our decorating. Today, I’m going to share with you some easy ways to create some little Christmas decorated vignettes in a few areas of your home.
The first one I’ll show you is our dining room. I always have fun changing out the decorations over our buffet with the season. This time I wanted to keep the color scheme and decor simple and easy. (My two favorite things!)
I covered some thin cardboard with the burlap. Did a white-wash on the reindeer ornament, which is just a mix of white craft paint and water. Then put it all together and glued the reindeer ornament on the front.
The “Noel” sign came from Joanne’s, the glitter reindeer was an ornament I picked up at Target. I found the mercury glass ornaments at Hobby Lobby.
This is one of my favorite spaces in the home this season.
Next up, is our kitchen window. We have a greenhouse window. Sadly, I haven’t been able to keep anything alive very long in the window. I decided to add a little Christmas charm in this area since I, I mean WE spend a lot of time here cooking and cleaning. 🙂
In my last post, I showed you how I made our first advent calendar. This weekend, I found the perfect spot to create a little vignette for it.
I added a Christmas decoration that was given to me as a birthday gift this year, a simple bowl of ornaments, and my favorite little wooden Santa figure. It was also a gift to me from one of my best friends!
And that’s just some of the decorations we put out this weekend! I’ll share our mantel with you later this week so stay tuned! Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you and your family are enjoying the holiday season!
Everything looks beautiful!
Hi, Ellora

I’ve loved seeing your Christmasing! How creative you are to make the cute little reindeer picture. Your dining room shelves look wonderful. That’s a cute idea with the ornies hanging in your kitchen window! I’m popping in from Savvy Southern Style.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia 🙂
I love that reindeer art project. So cute!
