New Year means new goals! If you have been following me for a while now, then you might remember last year when I talked about New Year’s Resolutions and how I am a listy kinda person. And believe me, I have been making lists! And therein lies my struggle. I tend to make lists that are bigger than my schedule. Some may call it lofty goals, but I like to call it dreaming big! Looking over the past year, I made a lot of goals that related to the home. Paint this, build that, rearrange, organize, and beautify. Some I achieved, and others… not so much yet. Everything is always a work in progress.
So when I sat down to plan my goals for 2014, I decided it was time to take a different approach. This year, my goals aren’t all about the home. Don’t get me wrong, I still have a project and DIY list that is enough to keep me busy for a couple of years or more, but my real goals this year are about more than sawdust, paint, and hot glue….
Shhh, do you hear that? It’s the sound of Fall coming! Yeah, yeah I know what you’re saying. It’s not hardly even September yet!! But I say bring. it. on. Crisper weather, bonfires, autumn leaves, hayrides, lattes, sweaters, boots, pumpkin & cinnamon scented everything!! Yep, I’m ready.
